About tallow
What is tallow?
Tallow is rendered animal fat, made up mainly of triglycerides. Beef tallow comes from beef fat that is gently melted, strained and cooled into a smooth, creamy solid.
Will it smell like beef?
The Tallow Face Cream is scented with lemongrass, and the Hyaluronic Serum contains helichrysum essential oil. If you are sensitive to scent, ask Amber about the Lip Balm before you order.
Is tallow greasy?
It is rich, so start small. A little, warmed between your fingertips, goes a long way. One Etsy reviewer said the Face Cream leaves skin “smooth and silky without any greasy feeling.”

What is in the Tallow Face Cream?
Seven ingredients: grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, Manuka honey, vitamin E and lemongrass.
What is in the Lip Balm and the Hyaluronic Serum?
The Lip Balm is made with beef tallow; text or email Amber for its complete list. The Hyaluronic Serum contains hyaluronic acid, magnesium oil, pomegranate oil, vegetable glycerin, Optiphen (a preservative) and helichrysum essential oil.
Which one should I start with?
Start with the one you will use every day: the Lip Balm for lips, the Face Cream for your face, or the Hyaluronic Serum for everyday hydration.
I have allergies or sensitive skin. Can I use these?
Check every ingredient first. The Face Cream contains coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax and honey. Try a small amount on the inside of your arm before the first full use, and stop if your skin is irritated. If you are managing a skin condition, ask your doctor first.

How much do they cost?
The Tallow Lip Balm is $10, the Tallow Face Cream is $25 for a 2 fl oz jar, and the Hyaluronic Serum is $25. Shipping is a flat $5 per order within the US.
How long will my order take?
Everything is made by hand, so Amber confirms timing when she replies. Etsy reviewers have mentioned orders arriving sooner than they expected.

Care
How should I store it?
Somewhere cool, away from direct sun and hot cars. Tallow softens as it warms, so a jar left in a hot car can melt.
